This is a recipe for Steamed Shrimp Stuffed Tofu
This is a super healthy and yummy recipe that is pretty easy to make.
Ingredients:
20 Raw Thai headless frozen shrimp
1/2 tbs Cornstarch
White pepper
Salt
Soy sauce
1 tbs Sesame oil
Maggi
2 boxes of Soft Tofu
Saran wrap
Paper towel
hammer
1 bowl
How to:
- peel raw shrimp and dissect all the guts out of it
- next rinse the shrimp
- place shrimp on paper towel and dry off excess water
- then place shrimp flat on a piece of saran wrap
- place another clean piece of saran wrap on top of the shrimp
- next pound away until the shrimp looks like a paste
- Place the shrimp paste into a bowl
- add a dash or white pepper and salt
- add the cornstarch and sesame oil
- mix all ingredients with hands (this is easiest with hands i found just make sure u wash them before you touch it -_-)
- This is the "hard" part. You need to form the paste into a ball and basically slap it into the bowl like your throwing it in. Do this a couple times until the paste is sticky
- Next cut the tofu into squares and place on place
- Next use two spoons to form the shrimp balls to "stuff"/place on top of the tofu
- Boil water and steam plate
- Steam for approximately 15 minutes
- Pour out excess water on plate
- Serve with Maggi and Soysauce
