Steamed Shrimp Stuffed Tofu

YEAH! My first attempt making this dish! Im sooo proud of myself :P!

This is a recipe for Steamed Shrimp Stuffed Tofu
This is a super healthy and yummy recipe that is pretty easy to make.

20 Raw Thai headless frozen shrimp
1/2 tbs Cornstarch
White pepper
Soy sauce
1 tbs Sesame oil
2 boxes of Soft Tofu
Saran wrap
Paper towel
1 bowl

How to:

  1. peel raw shrimp and dissect all the guts out of it
  2. next rinse the shrimp
  3. place shrimp on paper towel and dry off excess water
  4. then place shrimp flat on a piece of saran wrap
  5. place another clean piece of saran wrap on top of the shrimp
  6. next pound away until the shrimp looks like a paste
  7. Place the shrimp paste into a bowl
  8. add a dash or white pepper and salt
  9. add the cornstarch and sesame oil
  10. mix all ingredients with hands (this is easiest with hands i found just make sure u wash them before you touch it -_-)
  11. This is the "hard" part. You need to form the paste into a ball and basically slap it into the bowl like your throwing it in. Do this a couple times until the paste is sticky
  12. Next cut the tofu into squares and place on place
  13. Next use two spoons to form the shrimp balls to "stuff"/place on top of the tofu
  14. Boil water and steam plate
  15. Steam for approximately 15 minutes
  16. Pour out excess water on plate
  17. Serve with Maggi and Soysauce
Hope you like this!! Have a yummi day!
