Kimchi Hot Pot



Mmmmm mmmm good!! Me and my f LUV kimchi and hot pot! :D So we combined them together!! Not sure if this is how koreans make it but this is what we came up with :D 


Ingredients


  • 1 can of Chicken broth 
  • 2x the amount of water
  • Kimchi 
  • Sunchang Gochujang (Hot pepper paste) 
  • 蘿蔔 (White carrots) 
  • Assorted balls (beef, fish, pork, chicken)
  • Assorted mushrooms (enoki, oyster, etc) 
  • Soft tofu 
  • Fatty Beef 
  • Clear Noodles 
    • to prepare soak in hot water first
    • drain and use 
  • Instant Noodles
  • Hot pot stove 

How to: 
  • Boil water and chicken broth in a big pot
  • Add the desired about of hot pepper paste, I added about 2-3 spoons for mild spicy
  • Add the 蘿蔔 in cuz they taste better with all that flavoring 
  • Add balls 
  • Add salt to taste 
  • Pour soup base in the hot pot stove 
  • Add kimchi, mushrooms and tofu 
  • When ready to eat add beef and noodles 
  • Now you have a delicious kimchi hot pot!
