Ombres Perlées De Chanel

Chanel’s Spring 2011 collection is inspired by the lustrous, natural beauty of pearls, these delicate, luminous shades beautifully flatter face and fingertips. Though everything looked beautiful in this collection, I only picked up Ombres Perlees de Chanel ($66 limited edition), a beautiful palette of five luminous and intense shades that resemble fine pearls.

The palette comes in a rectangular compact with two small double ended applicators (3 foam/1 brush)

Inside, the palette has five iridescent colors

The texture is a very fine, smooth, almost like a cream finish but turns into powder.

The colors:
  • A pearly warm cream highlighter
  • A soft peach with a hint of pink
  • A cranberry-violet with black reflects
  • A metallic green that is a mix of a forest, khaki and moss
  • A deep gunmetal with a hint of deep green

I got this palette about 2 weeks ago now, and I still haven't touch it because it is just too pretty! I will post some swatches and experiments soon!

  1. It does look very pretty! The only Chanel thing I own is one of their blushes, which really doesn't count as mine because I stole it from my mom.. haha. I love Chanel, Chanel = luxury. It's so sad that they're so pricy, but that's what makes them special. :)
